Deer Hunters and Families Affected By Lead in Venison Meat Recall

The Dept of Agriculture found 87% of meat shops tested had lead in the venison they processed and gave to families and children to eat.

Lead was found in 18% of venison meat processed by Department of Natural Resources employees for their own families.
