Brandon Mitchell Lanie “Buddy” died tragically at the tender age of 14 when he was mistaken for a deer while deer hunting on November 18, 2006. Brandon was a freshman in High School. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and had such a love for the outdoors and more patience than most people can even understand. Brandon spent countless hours studying how to be a safer outdoorsman, he even received his Advanced Hunter Certification at a early age.
If everyone were as safety conscious as Brandon was, tragedies such as this could be prevented.
